Want to shake hands with a changed life?

Come and meet the fatherless boys from the urban streets of Del Paso Heights, and hear how their lives have been changed by the outreach of Shoulder to Shoulder.

If you’re a leader in our community with a heart to see changed lives in our inner city, you need to be a part of this event!

As a community leader we know you spend precious hours every week working to make a difference. You don’t often get to see success stories. Well, we’ve got some for you.

We’d like to invite you to join over two hundred civic, religious and business leaders from greater Sacramento at the 2nd Annual “Break The Cycle of Fatherlessness” Breakfast September 14th at Centerpoint Community Church in Roseville.

You’ll meet some of the young men who have had their futures changed by our mentoring programs, and you’ll hear key leaders in our city tell why they’ve decided to support Shoulder to Shoulder’s vision to break the cycle of fatherlessness in Del Paso Heights. It will be an unforgettable event.

Imagine this kind of challenge, growing up in a community where:

  • 7 out of 10 boys live without a father in their home
  • 95% of all kids are on the Free Lunch program
  • 1 out of every 2 young men will NOT graduate from high school
  • 60% are two or more years behind in basic education when entering 7th grade

Now imagine this kind of change:

  • Fatherless boys being mentored by mature men with strong values
  • Boys gaining the self respect to resist gangs and choose academic futures
  • Young men seeing their GPAs rise from 1.0 to 3.5 along with their confidence
  • Single moms getting the personal support they need to raise their sons with vision

Will you join us and hear more about how Shoulder to Shoulder is changing lives?
